betjuve Privacy Policy
At betjuve, your privacy is not an afterthought — it is a foundational part of how we operate. This Privacy Policy explains in plain language what personal data we collect from Filipino players, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your own information. betjuve is committed to full compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and all applicable PAGCOR data handling requirements.
How betjuve Protects Your Data
Six core principles guide how betjuve handles every piece of personal information entrusted to us by Filipino players across Manila, Cebu, Davao, and beyond.
End-to-End Encryption
All data transmitted between your browser and betjuve's servers is protected by 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption — the same standard used by Philippine banks. Your personal and financial data travels securely at every step.
Minimal Data Collection
betjuve collects only the data that is strictly necessary for account operation, KYC compliance, and PAGCOR regulatory requirements. We do not collect data speculatively or for purposes beyond what is outlined in this policy.
No Data Selling
betjuve does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. Your data exists to support your gaming experience — nothing else. This is a hard commitment, not a policy footnote.
Your Rights Under RA 10173
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, object to processing, and request erasure of your personal data. betjuve honours all data subject rights requests within the legally mandated timeframes.
Segregated Data Storage
Player personal data and financial records are stored in logically segregated, access-controlled systems. Access to your data is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis and is subject to internal audit logging at all times.
Marketing Opt-Out
You are always in control of whether betjuve contacts you with promotional communications. You can update your marketing preferences at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team — and we act on opt-out requests within 48 hours.

05 Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, betjuve processes your personal data on the following legal bases:

- Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for betjuve's legitimate business interests — such as fraud prevention, platform security, responsible gaming monitoring, and internal analytics — where these interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent: Where betjuve relies on your consent as the legal basis for processing (primarily for direct marketing communications), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.
06 Data Sharing & Disclosure
betjuve does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share your data only in the circumstances described below, and only to the extent necessary for the specified purpose:

These providers process identity data solely for verification purposes and are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

07 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
betjuve uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on its platform to ensure proper functionality, enhance your experience, and support security and analytics operations. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit the betjuve website.
betjuve uses the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies: These are essential for the betjuve platform to function. They include session management cookies that keep you logged in, security tokens, and load-balancing cookies. These cannot be disabled without impairing your ability to use betjuve.
- Functional cookies: These remember your preferences — such as your preferred language, display settings, and responsible gaming configuration — so you do not have to reset them on every visit.
- Analytics cookies: These collect anonymised data about how players navigate the betjuve platform, which pages are visited most frequently, and where users encounter technical issues. This data is used exclusively for platform improvement.
- Security cookies: These help betjuve detect and prevent fraud, bot activity, and unauthorised access attempts in real time.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect platform functionality. Your continued use of betjuve following your first visit constitutes acceptance of betjuve's use of cookies as described in this section.
08 Data Retention
betjuve retains your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. The following retention periods apply:

|---|---|---|

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, betjuve will securely delete or anonymise your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you. Where anonymisation rather than deletion is applied, the resulting anonymised data may be retained indefinitely for statistical and analytical purposes.
09 Data Security
betjuve implements a comprehensive set of technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. Our security framework includes:

- Right to be informed: The right to know how and why betjuve collects and processes your personal data — which this Privacy Policy fulfils.
- Right of access: The right to obtain confirmation of whether betjuve holds your personal data, and to receive a copy of that data in a commonly used electronic format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact betjuve's Data Protection Officer as described in Section 14 of this Policy. betjuve will respond to all data subject rights requests within 30 calendar days of receipt, or within such other period as the NPC may prescribe.
11 Children's Privacy
betjuve is strictly an adult platform. In accordance with PAGCOR regulations and Philippine law, access to betjuve's services is limited to persons who are 21 years of age or older. betjuve does not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal data from any individual under the age of 21.
As part of our registration and KYC process, betjuve requires all new players to provide proof of age before their account is activated. Any account found to belong to a person under 21 will be immediately suspended and all associated funds returned to the verified payment source, pending identity confirmation.
If betjuve becomes aware that personal data has been collected from an individual under the age of 21 without verified parental consent, betjuve will take immediate steps to delete that data from its systems. If you believe a minor has registered on betjuve, please contact our Data Protection Officer at the details provided in Section 14 immediately.
12 Cross-Border Data Transfers
betjuve's primary data processing infrastructure is located within the Philippines. In certain circumstances, however, betjuve may transfer personal data to recipients located outside the Philippines — for example, where betjuve engages an international KYC verification provider or a cloud infrastructure service with data centres in other jurisdictions.
Where betjuve transfers personal data outside the Philippines, it ensures that an appropriate level of data protection is maintained by implementing one or more of the following safeguards:
- Executing data processing agreements that incorporate the NPC's standard contractual clauses for cross-border data transfers;
- Transferring data only to countries or organisations that the NPC has recognised as providing an adequate level of personal data protection;
- Obtaining your explicit consent for the specific cross-border transfer where required.
You may request information about the specific safeguards in place for any cross-border transfer of your personal data by contacting betjuve's Data Protection Officer as described in Section 14.
13 Changes to This Privacy Policy
betjuve reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in its data processing practices, new regulatory requirements, or improvements to its privacy framework. The effective date at the top of this Policy will be updated whenever a material change is made.
Where a change is material — meaning it significantly affects how betjuve processes your personal data or alters your rights — betjuve will provide advance notice through one or more of the following channels:
- A prominent notice on the betjuve homepage and platform dashboard;
- A direct notification to the email address registered on your betjuve account;
- An in-platform notification visible upon your next login.

betjuve has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) in accordance with Section 21 of the Philippine Data Privacy Act and NPC Circular 17-01. The DPO is responsible for overseeing betjuve's data protection strategy, ensuring DPA compliance, and acting as the primary point of contact for data subjects and the National Privacy Commission.
